MPL Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I have a ford galaxy 2004 1.9 tdi with 84K on clock, initially it had an intermittent fault, one day behaving normal other day trouble, but after few days I think fault has become permanent, cold or hot car start with first flick, but rav never goes above 3200RPM, if you pull the car it pulls like normal car as until rev goes to 3200RPM, after 3200RPM it behaves like misfiring or hesitating to catch speed, if you keep driving below 3200RPM, after 2 miles misfiling and hesitation starts becoming intense until to a stage car stalls, wont start again straight away unless its cold. Been to ford they says no fault code. They don Quote

Crickleymal Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) What about the EGR valve? I had my Alhambra do something similar and someone suggested that might be the cause. I gave it an Italian tune up and it seems to be OK now though. Oops re reading the original post properly I see you've tried that. I did try to delete this post but found I couldn't.
